Life in the BowlCrystal Gulpa
Main

Traditionally, offering bowl would be used by Buddhist monks to accept Dana. With the Dana the monks receive, normally rice and/or money, they survive. Even today, such practice exists. This crystal bowl with assorted stones and Filigree work could equally serve you well to hold keys in your house, or a bowl full of rice could serve you as an incense holder. Sky is the limit for your imagination.

Gulpa, also known as the Patra is the begging / offering bowl of the Lord Buddha during his time of meditation. He would eat only what has been offered in the bowl
